Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation satellites. You will be working on-site in the satellite division in the quality assurance team for electronic equipment. In this management role you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Ensure the product quality of electronic space equipment
• Plan and carry out the quality requirements in products according to European Space Agency’s (ECSS) specifications
• Plan product assurance activities in the proposal phase according to customer requirements
• Ensure the quality requirements during design/development, procurement, production and test phases
• Keep up regular contact with the customer and negotiate quality issues

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant discipline
• Profound management experience including experience in leading meetings, negotiations, estimating resources, identification of bottlenecks
• Ability to identify risks and to think in processes
• Proven experience in quality assurance
• Knowledge in electronics
• Fluency in English language is mandatory; German would be advantageous.
