Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space company we are looking for a Thermal Engineer
Activities
Our customer is one of the leading providers of opto-electronic instruments and systems for aerospace and security applications. You will be working on-site for a company that has an excellent international reputation in the fields of opto-electronic instruments and systems, software as well as guidance, navigation and control sensors. In your role as Thermal Engineer, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Thermal Engineering (requirements analysis, interface coordination, thermal design) of opto-electronic sensors and instruments for aerospace and security systems
- Thermal modelling and analysis using ESABASE/ESATAN/ESARAD
- Definition and supervision of thermal tests/thermal vacuum tests
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree in Engineering or Physics
- Knowledge in thermal analysis and design as well as in thermal testing
- Knowledge/experience using the analysis tools ESABASE, ESARAD and ESATAN
- Experience in working in high-technology development projects, e.g. for aerospace or security/defence projects
- Fluency in English language is mandatory, German and French are highly advantageous
