Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will be working on-site as Software Developer for the Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) project, responsible for the following activities:

• Software development for the ATV Ground Control Simulator (AGCS)
• Maintenance and development of existing JAVA applications in the frame of the simulation based on IEEE 1516 HLA standard and HLA pitch software products (Pitch pRTI, Pitch Booster)
• Maintenance and development of existing simulation models in Matlab / Simulink
• Maintenance and development of existing simulation support applications (C, C++, Java)
• User support

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other relevant
• Advanced knowledge in the distributed simulation based on IEEE 1516 High-level architecture (HLA) standard for modelling and simulation
• Knowledge in the Pitch Software products (Pitch Runtime Infrastructure (pRTI), Pitch Booster)
• Knowledge in Java, C, C++
• Knowledge in Matlab/Simulink
• Unix knowledge (Solaris, Linux, Shell programming)
• Fluency in English is mandatory, German is advantageous
