Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space systems and security applications. By working in multi-discipline project teams, you will enjoy a high degree of scope for creativity, independence and self-initiative. In your role as Systems Engineer you will support the Galileo project as team member of the Electronics Systems Department of our customer - a German system provider for numerous prestigious national and international projects. You will be responsible for the following activities:

• Design, analysis and layout of avionic systems for satellite applications
• Development and maintenance of documentation (specifications, design descriptions, test procedures and reports)
• Development and realisation of test concepts
• Support and control of subcontractors and suppliers
• Support to satellite projects from proposal phase to in-orbit operations
• Acquisition of new assignments and development of proposals

Skills

You  ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in electrical engineering or any other relevant qualification
• Experience as a systems engineer in the area of satellite on-board data handling
• Experience in hardware projects in the project phases B/C/D, ideally in the area of satellite avionic systems (on-board computer and related subsystems) would be advantageous
• High flexibility and customer orientation
• You are fluent in English language; German is advantageous.

Starting date: February 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter
