SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION
• Responsible for communications systems engineering relating to space and ground segments.
• Required to interpret mission requirements and translate into communications system specifications concept, planning and design.
• Leads systems architecture options analysis and selection.
• Includes space and group segments (5 to 10 years experience). |

| Qualifications |
CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering and 8 years experience.
• Experience in space or military or communications system design.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Space or terrestrial communications architecture analysis and design.
• Communications architecture experience.
• Familiarity with space related communications standards CCSDS and ECSS.
