Our Client is seeking a Senior RF Systems Engineer with a strong background in defense and satellite communication applications. The position entails driving the systems design for complex satellite communications hardware. 

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS:

-Prepare detailed technical proposals that provide RF product and systems concepts specific to program bid campaigns.
-Demonstrate an understanding of communications systems, such that detailed trade-offs can be conducted and presented to validate technical direction.  Lead a team of multi-disciplined people in evaluations, prototyping and transitions from design concept to validated hardware.  This will follow a structured process that includes pre-defined milestones and cost considerations.
-An appreciation for analog, digital, mechanical and EMC.
-An understanding and contributing role into manufacturing, test and qualification of products for the intended environments is required, including an understanding of qualification standards used in high-reliability components and systems.
-Keeping current with the latest trends and technologies in the space and defense markets.
-Represent the Space Electronics business unit as a “technical guru” inside and outside our organization.
