Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space systems and security applications. You will be working on-site as Systems Engineer for the prestigious Galileo project, responsible for the following activities:

• Analyse and ensure the implementation of software requirements of the customer and the subsystems
• Modification and configuration of development environments, test tools and applications software in preparation of complex tests
• Preparation of test bench tests and satellite engineering model tests
• Analysis of test results with respect to deviations from the requirement specifications
• Documentation (specifications, design descriptions, ICDs, test procedures and reports) according to project guidelines and space standards
• Participation in project reviews

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in computer science, aerospace engineering or any other relevant degree
• Several years of experience in embedded S/W development and test activities, preferably in the space sector
• Excellent knowledge of up to date development environments, operating systems, methods and tools for embedded S/W design and verification
• Good knowledge of DAL-A/B level software is advantageous
• Knowledge about satellite functions (AOCS, DHS, Payload, Power, FDIR, Thermal Control) would be beneficial
• Fluency in English language is mandatory; German is advantageous.
