Activities

Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climate-related satellite data, images and products for its users. You will be working on-site as a member of the Mission and System Engineering Division Team. Tasks will include:

• Flight dynamics engineering for GEO and LEO Earth Observation programmes,
• Space and ground system analysis and design with respect to Flight Dynamics,
• Definition and development of Flight Dynamics tools for mission analysis,
• Definition and realization of future Flight Dynamics systems,
• Support the Assembly, Integration and Verification of Flight Dynamics systems,
• Provide support operational Flight Dynamics systems for EO missions.

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in mathematics, physics or a relevant discipline,
• Several years professional experience in space systems including Flight Dynamics
• Specialisation in orbital mechanics/dynamics and control,
• Experience in development and operation of space systems,
• Knowledge of flight dynamics systems for GEO and LEO missions,
• Experience of technical or scientific programming under Unix/Linux,
• Knowledge of ECSS and CCSDS standards,
• Orbit determination, navigation and filtering techniques including GNSS,
• Fluency in English is mandatory, some knowledge of French would be an asset.
