Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space systems and security applications. By working in multi-discipline project teams, you will enjoy a high degree of scope for creativity, independence and self-initiative. In your role as Satellite Systems Engineer you will support the prestigious Galileo project from the development phase until in-orbit operations. You will be responsible for the following activities:

• Coordinate the system development and subsystem activities
• Analyse the customer requirements and ensure their implementation
• Budget and budget margin tracking
• Development and maintenance of documentation (specifications, design descriptions, ICDs, test procedures and reports)
• Participation in project reviews

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in aerospace engineering or any other relevant qualification
• You possess profound experience in satellite systems engineering
• Knowledge in requirements tracking (e.g. DOORS) would be beneficial
• You are communicative and able to work efficiently in a big project team
• High flexibility and customer orientation
• You are fluent in English language; German is advantageous.

Starting date: March/April 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter
