Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of satellite and space systems. You will be working on-site as a Quality Engineer in the prestigious European Galileo project, responsible for the following activities:

• Support of the PA activities in the project Galileo IOV for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT)
• Support of the Non-Conformance Review (NCR) process (use of ESA tool NCTS and in the tool at Thales Alenia Space)
• Independent creating of the Product Assurance documents
• Support of the RFD/RFW/RFA process
• Assessment and controlling of the supplier documentation
• Issuing the Product Assurance part of the progress report

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in Aerospace Engineering or any other relevant degree
• Several years of professional experience in Product Assurance for AIT
• Knowledge of ESA quality standards, e.g. ECSS
• Fluency in English language is mandatory; German is advantageous.
