Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space organisation we are looking for Navigation Satellite Operations Engineers

Activities

Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. You will be working on-site as a member of the Operations Team. The positions within the team will include:

• Systems Operations Engineer,
• Mission Operations Engineer,
• Flight Operations Engineer.

Tasks will include

• Launch preparation, operational procedure definition and validation
• Support to ground segment and spacecraft validation
• Launch and early orbit phase support
• Handover to routine operations.

Skills

You should ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree or equivalent in science or engineering
• Knowledge of satellite navigation systems including space and ground segments
• Space mission operational procedure preparation and validation,
• Knowledge of ECSS and CCSDS standards
• Able to work independently and good communication skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory, some knowledge of French or German an asset.
