Activities

Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. You will be working on-site as a member of the Operations Team. Tasks will include:

• Preparation of satellite simulation campaigns
• Monitoring and control of the satellite simulator during simulations campaigns
• Simulations support to ground segment and satellite validation testing
• Capture requirements of satellite simulators and support their implementation
• Investigate anomalies and support their resolution
• Support spacecraft operator training
• Participate in the preparation for future missions and programmes.

Skills

You should ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree or equivalent in science or engineering
• Knowledge of ECSS and CCSDS standards
• Real-time simulators for spacecraft and ground segment validation,
• Operational validation of systems and operational procedures
• User requirements capture and change management
• Overall understanding of end-to-end space systems and their operation
• Able to work independently and good communication skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory, some knowledge of French or German an asset.
