Activities

Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. You will be working on-site as a member of the Operations Team. Tasks will include:

• Systems engineering of a global TTC ground station network
• Participate in evolution planning to improve overall operational service availability
• Support major system changes ensuring continuity of service
• Anomaly investigation and resolution
• Production of operational procedures for ground stations
• Support the development and validation of system operations guide
• Participate in the preparation for future missions and programmes.

Skills

You should ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree or equivalent in science or engineering
• Knowledge of ECSS and CCSDS standards
• Satellite tracking stations for real-time space mission operation
• Operational validation of systems and operational procedures
• User requirements capture and change management
• Local and wide area data communications and/or Antennas and RF communication for TTC applications
• Able to work independently and good communication skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory, some knowledge of French or German.
