Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the area of satellites. You will be working on-site as a Verification Engineer for a geostationary satellite programme and will report directly to the project system technical responsible. This includes the following activities:

• Verification engineering of a project for development and integration of a geostationary satellite
• In charge of the definition of the overall project verification strategy (model philosophy, verification approach, etc.) on system, subsystem and unit level including payloads as well as generation and maintenance of the corresponding technical documentation (DDV/AIV plan)
• Coordinate the project level verification philosophy with our customers as well as subcontractors and suppliers in order to define a consistent overall verification approach

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in engineering, physics or a comparable qualification with focus on optical systems
• You have professional experience in space projects as system engineer, verification engineer, AIV/AIT engineer or in a similar technical position
• Ideally, you have already worked on DLR or ESA optical satellite development projects
• Fluency in English language is mandatory; German is advantageous
