Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space company we are looking for a Product Assurance Engineer
Activities
Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. In your role of a Product Assurance Engineer you will be reporting to the Product Assurance Manager and Quality Assurance Manager. You will be responsible for the following activities:
- Ensure and maintain a suitable quality planning for each assigned mission, in compliance with the evolving Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure that the applicable QMS procedures are implemented and that the software standards are implemented by the software development & maintenance team.
- Organise and maintain the process of anomaly and problem management at system level and its interfaces with partners, infrastructure and subsystems.
- Lead the process of non-conformances
- Support the process of risk management and maintain the risk register.
- Define and maintain the rules for documentation production, handling and storage.
- Perform quality review of the documents produced by the team.
- Organise and maintain the process of configuration management at system level.
- Stimulate the identification of lessons learned from the experience of the missions.
- Provide quality training on processes and tools to the team.
- Participate in project meetings and test activities.
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent
- At least 4 years of experience in supporting complex systems and ground segment, involvement in quality activities, appreciated skill on software product assurance.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of another language is an asset
