Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space company we are looking for a Electrical Ground Support Equipment Engineer
Activities
Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space systems and security applications. You will be working on-site in a prestigious navigation satellite project. By working in multi-discipline project teams, you will enjoy a high degree of scope for creativity, independence and self-initiative. As Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) Engineer you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Radio Frequency suitcase engineering
- Telemetry and Telecommand (TT&C) SCOE Engineering
- Crypto EGSE
- Support to Ground System
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Profound knowledge and experience in TT&C and Radio Frequency subsystems as well as in crypto subsystems
- Space experience
- Real-time test system experience
- Tools: Matlab, Labview, Tope, TCL/TK programming
- You are willing to travel
- Fluency in English language is mandatory; German is advantageous.
Starting date: July/August 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter
