Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space company we are looking for a Mechanical Ground Support Equipment Engineer for Navigation Satellite Programme

Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space systems and security applications. You will be working on-site in a prestigious navigation satellite project. By working in multi-discipline project teams, you will enjoy a high degree of scope for creativity, independence and self-initiative. You will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Coordinate the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment on system level
  • Systems Engineering activities
  • Write system requirements and specifications
  • Development and maintain documentation
  • Participate in project reviews

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant degree
  • Profound systems engineering experience in the space business
  • Experience in the area of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory; German is advantageous.
Starting date: July/August 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter
