Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space company we are looking for a Satellite Attitude/Orbit Control Engineer

Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the area of satellites and space technologies. You will be working on-site as Satellite Attitude/Orbit Control Engineer in the Assembly, Integration and Test Division for the programme navigation, responsible for the following activities:

  • Functionally test ACS and OCS units and components
  • Functionally test platform ACS and OCS subsystems in closed-loop and end-to-end test set-up
  • Produce and maintain test documentation such as specifications, procedures and reports
  • Develop and implement corresponding automated test procedures as script files in a SCOS 2000 environment using TOPE (Tcl/ Tk) language
  • Evaluate and assess test results
  • Verify and evaluate ACS and OCS requirements

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in Space Technology, Process Instrumentation, Physics or equivalent
  • Several years of AOCS and spaceflight dynamics experience
  • Experience with SCOS2000 and TOPE
  • AIT project experience advantageous
  • Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory; German is advantageous.
