Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space company we are looking for a Satellite Attitude/Orbit Control Engineer
Activities
Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the area of satellites and space technologies. You will be working on-site as Satellite Attitude/Orbit Control Engineer in the Assembly, Integration and Test Division for the programme navigation, responsible for the following activities:
- Functionally test ACS and OCS units and components
- Functionally test platform ACS and OCS subsystems in closed-loop and end-to-end test set-up
- Produce and maintain test documentation such as specifications, procedures and reports
- Develop and implement corresponding automated test procedures as script files in a SCOS 2000 environment using TOPE (Tcl/ Tk) language
- Evaluate and assess test results
- Verify and evaluate ACS and OCS requirements
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree in Space Technology, Process Instrumentation, Physics or equivalent
- Several years of AOCS and spaceflight dynamics experience
- Experience with SCOS2000 and TOPE
- AIT project experience advantageous
- Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills
- Fluency in English language is mandatory; German is advantageous.
Starting date: July 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter
