Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space systems. You will be working on-site, responsible for On-Board Data Handling (OBDH) as well as Cryptography Test Engineering activities. This includes:

• Functionally testing platform subsystem and satellite system software in closed- loop and end-to-end test set-up
• Producing and maintaining test documentation such as specifications, procedures and reports
• Developing and implementing corresponding automated test procedures as script files in a SCOS 2000 environment, using TOPE (Tcl/ Tk) language
• Evaluating and assessing test results
• Verifying and reporting SW test processes

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• You have a degree in engineering with a major in computer technology, electrical engineering, physics or comparable qualifications.
• Experience in satellite on-board data handling is required
• SW AIT project experience is advantageous
• You have software test and verification experience and possess SCOS2000 and TOPE knowledge
• Ideally, you are familiar with Phase B/C/D hardware objects in the area of avionic systems (on-board computers and related subsystems) for satellites.
• You possess strong communication and negotiation skills
• Fluency in English language is mandatory; German is advantageous.
