Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space organisation we are looking for a LEO Ground Segment Network Engineer
Activities
Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climate-related satellite data, images and products for its users. You will be working on-site as a member of the System Engineering team. Tasks will include:
- Network engineering activities on LEO ground segments,
- Network requirements analysis, architectural design and development,
- Integration, Verification and Validation, (IV&V), of the network system upgrades within the existing network infrastructure,
- Support to Ground Segment operations concepts definition,
- Ensure that ground segment applications are integrated seamlessly via the network,
- Support ground segment design reviews.
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree in a relevant discipline
- At least 5 years experience in ground segment network engineering for EO space systems operating 24/7,
- Development cycle of large systems from the definition of requirements to system design and testing,
- CISCO network equipments and architectures,
- Configuration control processes,
- Familiarity with standards used for space programmes,
- Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of French would be an asset.
