Activities

Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. You will be working on-site as a member of the engineering team. Tasks will include:

• Flight dynamics engineering for science or earth observation missions
• Space and ground system analysis and design with respect to Flight Dynamics
• Definition and development of Flight Dynamics tools for mission analysis
• Definition and realization of future Flight Dynamics systems
• Support the Assembly, Integration and Verification of Flight Dynamics systems
• Provide support operational Flight Dynamics systems for operational missions.

Skills

You should ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree or equivalent in aerospace, mathematics or engineering
• Several years professional experience in space systems including Flight Dynamics
• Specialisation in orbital mechanics/dynamics and control
• Experience in development and operation of space systems
• Knowledge of flight dynamics systems for science and earth observation missions
• Experience of technical or scientific software development
• Orbit determination, navigation and filtering techniques including GNSS
• Knowledge of ECSS and CCSDS standards
• Fluency in English is mandatory, some knowledge of French or German an asset.
