Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space company we are looking for a Test Engineer of Pneumatic Systems
Activities
Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of transportation and satellites. You will be working on-site as Test Engineer, and will work on the exciting Ariane 5 launcher and/or ATV vehicle, responsible for the following activities:
- Execution of all function, compression and leak test of aerospace equipment
- Design of test procedures for sub-/system attempts as well as unit diagrams of pneumatic facilities
- Incoming inspection of electro-pneumatic launcher stage components
- Analysis and documentation of test results as well as error analysis
- Cleanliness and humidity control of the system testing facilities, aerospace components and test media
- Planning and carrying out of maintenance and repair activities
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- Mechanical Education and/or degree in Mechanical Engineering together with knowledge in pneumatic systems
- International experience
- Fluency in German language is mandatory; French and English are advantageous.
Starting date: October 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter
