Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space company we are looking for a RAMS Engineer
Activities
Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space systems and security applications. You will be working on-site as RAMS Engineer, responsible for the following activities:
- Setting up quantitative reliability and availability analysis
- Making qualitative defect and failure analysis (FMECA)
- Setting up fault tree analysis
- Compiling Parts Count- and Parts Stress analysis and Worst Case analysis
- Making maintainability analysis for Limited Life Items
- Making safety analysis (Hazard-Analysis)
- Setting up hardware/software interaction Analysis (HSIA)
- Controlling Critical Items
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Information technology or Physics
- Several years of experience in RAMS Engineering would be of great advantage
- Extensive knowledge of relevant analysis tools such as RELEX
- Knowledge of ECSS-Q-30 and ECSS-Q-40-series
- Experience in project-related quality assurance
- Organisation and team work skills
- Fluency in English language is mandatory; German is advantageous.
Starting date: November/December 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter
