Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space organisation we are looking for Spacecraft Operations Engineer (Cluster)
Activities
Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. You will be working on-site as a member of the Operations Team. Tasks will include:
- Engineering support to routine and contingency situation spacecraft operations
- Prepare and support operations during eclipse seasons
- Support the transition to a new mission planning system
- Monitoring spacecraft subsystem and instrument performance and health
- Anomaly investigation, tracking & follow-up
- Special operations, in flight testing, compilation of the weekly operations report
- Maintain the relevant procedures of the Flight Operations Plan.
Skills
You should ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree or equivalent in aerospace, electronics or physics
- Spacecraft systems in particular power systems
- Spacecraft operations and mission planning systems
- ESOC environment mission control and automated procedures of Cluster
- Familiarity with PC based MS Office tools
- Knowledge of ECSS and CCSDS standards
- Able to work independently and good communication skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
