Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space organisation we are looking for a User Service Technical Information Assistant
Activities
Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climate-related satellite data, images and products for its users. You will be working on-site as a member of the User Service Division Team. Tasks will include:
- Technical preparation and execution of distant courses and teleconferences;
- Support the course management system ‘Moodle’, the web conferencing and learning tool ‘Saba Centra’ and the online survey and registration tool ‘Webropol’;
- Support in creating meteorology e-learning training material;
- Arrange online meetings and invite users to attend web-based training events;
- Monitoring Internet connections, audio quality and interaction with participants;
- Support the Training Officers during and after training events in creating recordings of the training sessions.
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree or equivalent in engineering or in a related discipline;
- Excellent writing/editing skills and experience with e-learning/teaching environments advanced communication software /collaboration software;
- A good knowledge of MS Office and Web-based communication tools;
- Analysis of surveys, distant learning/e-learning and teleconferencing tools;
- Experience with tools like SABA Centra, Elluminate, WebEx, Moodle;
- Knowledge of a Web based survey tool, Web usability standards and practices;
- Fluency in English is mandatory, some knowledge of French would be an asset.
