Job Description

As support to a European space organisation we are looking for an Oracle Universal Content Management
Support Engineer

Activities

Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climate-related satellite data, images and products for its users. You will be working as a member of the Enterprise Information Management Team to support following tasks/areas:

  • Gathering and documentation of user and system requirements and constraints;
  • Perform trade off analysis, design and implement agreed solutions or changes and enhancements;
  • Define and implement interfaces between Oracle Universal Content Management (UCM) and other standard or legacy systems;
  • Design, implement, test and integrate user interfaces based on HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, JSP and IdocScript;
  • Perform the related quality assurance, configuration and change management activities;
  • Customer acceptance and roll-out phases of new or enhanced services and support the subsequent pilot and operational service phase;
  • Contribute to project planning and reporting;
  • Document tasks and deliverables according to standards and guidelines;
  • Provide second and third level support for existing and new solutions.

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent;
  • Several years of experience in the field of Oracle UCM 10gR3/11g, system installation, implementation, integration, support, operations and maintenance;
  • Experience in working with Ajax, (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, IdocScript, XML, XSLT as well as in integrating systems with web services and Active Directory and in developing document management solutions;
  • Ability to work independently; good organisational and communication skills;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; French would be an asset.
