Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will be working on-site as a Software Quality Assurance (SW QA) Engineer. Your tasks will include:

• Planning and supervision of activities in all project phases;
• Monitoring of acceptance activities for ground software;
• Support of SW development projects using classical and agile methodologies;
• Support and consult project managers and technical departments in all QA aspects;
• Procurement assurance for contractors and subcontractors;
• Processing of non-conformances;
• Support process optimization in the software division as well as in all adjacent areas.

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in software engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent;
• Several years of professional experience in the field of QA and Quality Management;
• Good knowledge and proven experience in UML and Java, particularly in an agile development environment;
• Knowledge of space quality standards (ECSS), CMMI and Lean is highly advantageous;
• Good communication skills and attention to details;
• Fluency in English is mandatory; French would be an asset.
