RAMS Engineer

Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of Product Assurance. You will be working on-site as RAMS Engineer. Your tasks will include:

  • Setting up quantitative reliability and availability analysis
  • Making qualitative defect and failure analysis (FMECA)
  • Setting up fault tree analysis
  • Compiling Parts Count- and Parts Stress analysis and Worst Case analysis
  • Making maintainability analysis for Limited Life Items
  • Making safety analysis (Hazard-Analysis)
  • Setting up hardware/software interaction Analysis (HSIA)
  • Controlling Critical Items

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Physics
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant analysis tools such as RELEX as well as experience in project-related quality assurance and knowledge of ECSS-Q-30 and ECSS-Q-40- series
  • Space experience advantageous
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German would be an asset
