Activities

Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. You will be working onsite as part of the Ground System Engineering Team responsible for METOP-B and MSG-3 LEOP. Your tasks will include:

• Engineering support for the Assembly, Integration, and Validation (AIV) activities of the METOP-B and MSG-3 Mission Control Systems;
• Follow-up of the relevant verification and validation activities, based on established system design and interfaces;
• Review, comment and witness the execution of test cases and test procedures for each formal milestone;
• Ensure that the evolution of the test cases and test procedures remains compatible with the design and verification agreements.

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in a relevant discipline;
• Several years of professional experience in development, integration, verification and testing of satellite control infrastructure, and especially in multi-mission SCOS2000 based Mission Control Systems;
• Experience in using spacecraft simulators, ground models simulators and test harnesses;
• Ability to work independently as well as attention to details;
• Fluency in English is mandatory; French would be an asset.
