Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will be working on-site as a Structural Engineer and will mainly support the Ariane 5 launcher project with the following activities:

• Dimensioning
• Stress calculation
• Stability, buckling
• Analysis of stiffened structures
• Hand calculations

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• Degree in aerospace engineering
• At least 5 years experience in static structural analysis and dimensioning in aerospace industry
• Knowledge in structural analysis using Finite Element codes (Nastran/Patran)
• Basic knowledge of composite material in aerospace
• Operating autonomously, team orientation, presentation skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory, basic knowledge of the German language would be appreciated
