As support to a European space company we are looking for a System Engineer for Satellite Integration

Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space systems and security applications. You will be working on-site as System Engineer for Satellite Integration, responsible for the following activities:

• Planning and controlling integration schemes within extensive satellite programmes
• Setting up integration processes and requirements for test plans, test procedures and test software
• Evaluation of time schedules and quantity valuation
• Organisation of overall-system test procedures
• Co-ordination of integration processes with customers, subcontractors and test houses
• Evaluation of test and validation reports

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering
• Several years of professional experience in ESA or commercial satellite projects as a system engineer and in hardware projects in the phases B/C/D
• Knowledge of requirements-management especially with DOORS
• Ability to work in a team and confidence in dealing with customers, suppliers and subcontractors
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German would be an asset
