As support to a European space company we are looking for a Project Officer

Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will be working on-site as a Project Officer. Your tasks will include:

• Support the project manager and work in a project team in the areas of engineering, product assurance, contracts, project planning & control as well as procurement;
• Preparation of management documentations;
• Provide support to the project management with regard to time schedules and budget allowances;
• Assist with the preparation of the work breakdown structure and the corresponding work order;
• Review of qualification and production activities;
• General support with the coordination of projects.

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering;
• First professional work experience in project management and product assurance, ideally in the space industry;
• Familiarity with MS Project advantageous;
• Good organisational skills, the ability to work in a team as well as a high level of independence;
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German would be an asset.
