As support to a European space company we are looking for a System Engineer

Activities

Our customer is a German organisation operating space flight missions and is a leading European operations institution for human and unmanned space flight. You will be working onsite to support the following tasks/areas:

• Specification of subsystem level ground segment requirements;
• Support to system and subsystem level ground segment design;
• Definition of system test requirements;
• Tracing of requirements with respect to verification activities;
• Configuration management;
• Generation, tracking and processing of change requests;
• Preparation of milestone reviews;
• Project management support.

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in a relevant discipline;
• Several years of professional experience in ground segment system engineering and in space projects;
• Several years of professional experience in project management support;
• Ability to work independently as well as good communication skills;
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German would be an asset.

Starting date: as soon as possible
