On behalf of Dutch Space we are looking for a: Senior Electrical Engineer

The person selected will work for the TROPOMI project and have the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Supporting user requirements and translating them into system architecture Contributing to the overall system design on related subjects (interfaces, risks, margins and budgets)
• Performing system level detailed analyses and simulations (WCA, FMECA, S/S intercompatibility analysis)
• Generating system-level documentation (EMC, Radiation hardness, frequency control plan)
• Supporting shadow engineering of sub-contractors
• Solving design problems in consultation with in-house specialists, customers and sub-contractors
• Supporting the Electrical Lead Engineer
• Executing work package management
• Contributing to the Electrical Engineering knowledge base

Skills and Experience:

• University Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering;
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in space design and the development of electrical equipment for space instruments;
• Knowledge of system engineering methods;
• Coaching and technical management skills;
• Team player;
• Good communication skills - both spoken and written English (Dutch is an asset but not required).
