As support to a European company we are looking for a
Quality & Product Assurance Manager

Activities

Our customer is one of the leading providers of optical and opto-electronic products and
services. You will be working onsite as part of the space business unit to support
following tasks/areas within the BepiColombo programme:

• Phasing, planning and coordination of all PA related activities within the team in accordance with the requirements and the PA plan;
• Coordination and control of quality assurance management tasks, of reliability/safety/cleanliness/contamination control tasks and of Materials/Processes Selection and control tasks;
• Confirmation of status and preparation of relevant QA & PA documentation;
• Ensure coordination of and take part in quality related meetings and reviews in accordance with the project schedule and meetings list;
• Ensure implementation and control of PA related control tools as mentioned in the requirements documentation;
• Establishment and implementation of a Product Assurance and Inspection Plan;
• Management and control of non-conformances and dispositions;
• Establishment and implementation of an Audit Plan;
• Review of manufacturing flow charts;
• Review of TRR/TRB planning against Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) activities;
• Confirmation of status of manufacturing project progress;
• Control of qualification programme;
• Monitoring of traceability and configuration control system;
• Preparation of relevant QA documentation;
• Review and approval of QA related documents and of AIT procedures;
• Verification of qualification according to the ESA standards, OGSE, MGSE;
• Support to CCB reviews.

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in electronic engineering or in an equivalent field;
• Several years of professional experience in PA & QA Management, preferably within space projects;
• Good knowledge of SAP R3 advantageous;
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German would be an asset.
