As support to a European space company we are looking for a
Galileo Operations Engineer

Activities

Our customer is a leading German organisation operating space flight missions. You will
be working onsite to support following tasks/areas:

• Follow up and analysis of FOC space segment activities;
• Comparison of IOV and FOC space segment design and operability;
• Preparation for FOC space segment tests at GCC-D (listen-in tests, etc.);
• Adaptation of operational products (procedures, plans, etc.);
• Generation of a work plan for the transfer of operational products from IOV to FOC;
• Participation at reviews and meetings.

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in a relevant discipline;
• Several years of professional experience in spacecraft systems;
• Several years of professional experience in satellite operations preparation and execution;
• Good knowledge of databases;
• Ability to work independently as well as good communication skills;
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German would be an asset;
• Security clearance up to “secret”.
