As support to a European space company we are looking for a Galileo Operations Engineer
Activities
Our customer is a leading German organisation operating space flight missions. You will be working onsite to support following tasks/areas:
- Follow up and analysis of FOC space segment activities;
- Comparison of IOV and FOC space segment design and operability;
- Preparation for FOC space segment tests at GCC-D (listen-in tests, etc.);
- Adaptation of operational products (procedures, plans, etc.);
- Generation of a work plan for the transfer of operational products from IOV to FOC;
- Participation at reviews and meetings.
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree in a relevant discipline;
- Several years of professional experience in spacecraft systems;
- Several years of professional experience in satellite operations preparation and execution;
- Good knowledge of databases;
- Ability to work independently as well as good communication skills;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; German would be an asset;
- Security clearance up to “secret”.
