As support to a European space company we are looking for a Ground Facility Security Support Engineer
Activities
Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. You will be working onsite within the Ground Network Data Facilities (GNDF) Information Security Management System (ISMS) Domain. Your tasks will include:
- Continuous monitoring, enhancement and maintenance of the GNDF Domain internal processes including Configuration, Inventory and Asset Management, Change and Release Management, Incident and Problem Management, Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, Customer Interfaces, Service Provider Interfaces as well as Help Desk Function;
- Periodically review and update of MOI GNDF ISMS documentation;
- Support the MOI GNDF ISMS Manager and MOI GNDF PSSO for Management Reviews, including regular MOI GNDF ISMS status reports;
- Support during internal audits (typically every six months) and external audits (typically once a year);
- Continuously support MOI ISMS Training and Awareness process;
- Maintain, monitor and guard the MOI GNDF infrastructure to guarantee confidentiality, integrity and availability;
- Provide feedback on improvements and non-compliances;
- Ensure QMS and ISMS cross-references are accurate;
- Provide support in incident handling and enforcing SECOPS procedures;
- First line GNDF ISMS user support;
- Ensure the operational build-up towards certification of the GNDF ISMS according to ISO 27001 and/or any accreditation for supported missions.
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree in a relevant discipline;
- Several years of professional experience in security management and with the corresponding standards;
- Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002 and general INFOSEC security concepts;
- Experience regarding the certification process would be considered as an asset;
- Ability to work independently as well as good communication skills;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; French would be an asset.
