In support to a European space company we are looking for a
Satellite Engineering Manager

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for Galileo IOV and FOC mission preparation
• Management of operations preparation and validation
• Coordination of LEOP Control Centres and Galileo Control Centre
• Supervision of LEOP and IOT activities
• Management of handover from LEOP Control Centres to Galileo Control Centre

Skills and Experience:

• Several years of experience in senior management positions
• Several years of experience in European space programs
• Experience in working with major European space agencies (ESA, DLR, CNES)
• Several years of management experience in operations preparation and execution
• Management of operations preparation for LEOP, IOT and Routine Phases
• Management of operations execution for LEOP and IOT Phases
• Familiarity with the following is considered an asset: SCOS, MOIS, ESA simulation facilities
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German would be a strong asset;
• Security clearance up to “secret” would be an asset.
