As support to a European space company we are looking for a
Senior Security Engineer

Activities

Our customer is a European space systems operations management company located in
Munich.

You will be working as Senior Security Engineer on the Technical Team supporting
Galileo Operations. Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Analysis of Security Requirements and translation for operations
• Analysis of threat and vulnerability analysis (Infrastructure and Procedures)
• Attack scenarios analyses
• Refinement of analyses with support of technical specialists
• Generation and review of security documentation

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree in a relevant discipline
• Extensive professional experience in the area of security engineering and management, preferably in space projects
• Familiarity with navigation systems and satellite operations would be an asset
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work independently as well as good communication skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German and Italian would be an asset
• Security clearance

Frequent trips to the Galileo Control Centres in Oberpfaffenhofen (Germany) and Fucino
(Italy) as well as other Operational Sites are required
