Spacecraft Mission Control System Engineers

Logica is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of mission control systems for spacecraft and monitoring and control systems for groundstations. We are seeking talented engineers to further strengthen our team and help us deliver some of the most exciting control systems in Europe.  Our team is based in Darmstadt, Germany. With our global client base there are many opportunities for travel and for longer assignments both within Germany and overseas.

Tasks:

Depending on your experience, ambition and ability you will take on one or more of a range of roles within our Mission Control System team:

  • Junior / senior developer
  • Techical architect / design authority
  • Maintenance & post-development support
  • On-site client support including simulation support, LEOPs and routine operations
  • Proposal writing & business development / support
  • Technical team leading & management
  • Test & AIV.

Qualifications:

You have a university degree in IT, physical sciences, mathematics, aerospace engineering or similar (Bachelor, Master, PhD or equivalent).


You are:

  • A proactive, independent problem solver yet also a great team player
  • Passionate about space
  • Passionate about new technologies and applying them
  • Expert in C++ and/or Java and familiar with working in a Linux environment
  • Experienced in SCOS-2000, or other commercial, institutional or open source mission control system platforms, or in groundstation monitoring & control systems
  • Fluent in English (written / spoken)
