Activities

Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climate-related satellite data, images and products for its users. You will be working on-site as a member of the Enterprise Information Management Team. Tasks will include:

• Assimilate business information needs and translate into information models
• Define metadata models to be implemented in the information management systems
• Support the implementation of information management solutions within the existing DMS frameworks
• Perform the related quality assurance, configuration and change management.

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree or equivalent in computer science or related subject
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with Information Management concepts, standards and policies
• Detailed knowledge of Information Management metadata standards, especially Dublin Core
• Experience with OpenText, eDOCS, Oracle UCM, Symantec Enterprise Vault and XML metadata models
• Able to work independently and good communication skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory; some knowledge of French would be an asset.
