Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will be working on-site as a Quality Assurance Engineer in the area of Parts, Materials and Processes, responsible for the following activities:

• Definition of Parts, Materials and Processes (PMP) for Satellites and their subsystems
• Support subcontractors and suppliers regarding PMP requirements
• Collaboration with Product Assurance managers, design and engineering teams as well as subcontractors regarding all PMP issues
• Analysis of occurring material and process problems, elaborate solution proposals
• Development of PMP lists and specifications for procurement, inspection and test of materials

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• Degree in aerospace engineering, materials science, chemistry or physics
• Professional experience of at least 2 years in the area of quality assurance and/or materials science
• Fluency in English is mandatory, German and French would be highly advantageous
