Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space company we are looking for a Product Assurance Manager for Telecommunication Satellites

Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of satellites. You will be working on-site as a Product Assurance Manager, responsible for the following activities:

• Implementation and supervision of product assurance (PA) requirements for satellites;
• Flow down of PA requirements to subcontractors; Subcontractor surveillance (mainly spacecraft AIT);
• Organisation and conductance of PA reviews and audits to assure that our customer’s processes are applied and followed;
• Management of Non-Conformances including, satellite configuration and related documentation;
• Preparation of End item Data Package;
• Representation of project PA in front of the customer;
• Co-ordination of the project PA-team and daily work in Munich and Cannes

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• At least 10 years of professional experience in quality management and profound knowledge of quality management methods and systems (ECSS, QMS);
• Management skills;
• Technical skills in managing and implementing quality system requirements for satellites; experience in approval and release of documentation; in case of deviations/non conformances ability to evaluate quality issues and involve appropriate technical disciplines for detailed investigations
• Fluency in English is mandatory as well as intermediate German language skills
