Activities

Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will be working on-site, responsible for the following activities:

• Planning and carrying out of Product Assurance activities regarding electrical components, materials and manufacturing methods
• Contact person for customers concerning components, materials and processes
• Inspection planning for components and development of inspection instructions
• Ensure the procurement and carry out acceptance of work at suppliers, monitor subcontractors
• Carry out Key Point Reviews and final acceptances for components
• Support the development of acceptance documentation
• Support problem analyses and non-conformance processing
• Support the development and processing of lists regarding processes, materials and parts according to ESA standards

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with experience/knowledge in Quality Assurance or Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with experience in Electrics
• At least 5 years of experience in the Quality Inspection of electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical components
• Experience in manufacturing processes, inspection procedures (welding, tightness and pressure tests and electrical measurements) and related measuring methods
• Experience with materials (metals and non-metals) and material and inspection methods
• Fluency in English is mandatory, the knowledge German is an asset
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, reliability and team work skills
