Activities

Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climate-related satellite data, images and products for its users. You will be working on-site as a member of the General Services Division team. Tasks will include:

• Contribute towards software development, maintenance and support of Website, Extranet and Intranet applications based upon Oracle UCM
• Deployment and tailoring of client-server based COTS systems
• Provide second level support to existing applications and services
• Design, implement and integrate HTML web pages and dynamic content
• Produce and maintain user requirements, design and support documentation.

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• University degree or equivalent in computer science or software engineering
• Extensive professional experience in Web services and technologies
• Knowledge of Oracle UCM, Site Studio, JSP, Ajax, (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Idoc Script, XML, XSLT, LDAP, SMTP, PHP, Apache, IIS
• Experience with scripting under UNIX, Windows 2003/8 Server
• Knowledge and experience of Adobe Flash, SQL, Java Servlets, Perl, Adobe PhotoShop, SQUID
• Change and configuration management principles according to ITIL
• Fluency in English is mandatory, some knowledge of French would be an asset.
