Do you want to be part of the space future? As support to a European space company we are looking for a Flight Control Procedures Engineer - Galileo IOV
Activities
Galileo is a global satellite navigation system which intends to provide more precise measurements than available through existing systems like GPS (Galileo will be accurate down to the metre range), better positioning services at high latitudes and an independent positioning system upon which European nations can rely. You will work for the Galileo IOV project on-site in a European Space Company. In your role as Flight Control Procedures (FCP) Engineer you will be responsible for Change processes, configuration control and the internal review cycle for Flight Control Procedures Engineering.
This involves the following activities:
- Design, Coding, Debugging and Testing of Flight Control Procedures (FCP)
- Design and Coding of FCPs
- Review of relevant documentation (Satellite User Manual; Satellite Design Description)
- Coding of FCP using the MOIS tool and the SRDB.
- Debugging of FCPs and generation of FCP related Documentation.
- Testing of FCPs, generation of test documentation.
- Interface control and engineering will be performed by Jobholder concerning:
- Quality Assurance.
- Verification Control Database (VCD)
- TM/TC (SRDB)
- FDVE (Satellite Simulator)
Skills
You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology
- Professional Experience of at least 2 - 3 years
- Knowledge / Experience in Satellite Operations Engineering as well as in FCP / Software Lifecycle Engineering.
- Knowledge in MS Office, Operating systems (Unix) and modern script languages
- Fluency in German and English language is mandatory
