Quality Engineer

Activities

You will work in a dynamic and innovative environment, for a leading technology company with excellent future perspectives. You will be working on-site as a Quality Engineer, responsible for the following activities:

• Supplier Management
  • Selection, auditing and evaluation of international suppliers
  • Acceptance of first samples, pre-production samples etc after agreement with the suppliers
  • Control of supplier quality
• Project work
  • Checking the quality requirements of customer requests concerning feasibility and risks
  • Development and maintenance of project-related quality management plans, test procedure plans and other requirement documents
  • Final inspection of prototypes, first samples, pre-production samples etc.
  • Creation of audit reports
• Quality management activities
  • Control of the effectiveness of existing quality management systems
  • Execution of internal and external product and process audits
  • Optimisation of test requirements related to the test results

Skills

You ideally have the following qualifications and experience:

• Degree in engineering with specialisation in optoelectronic, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or fine mechanics together with profound experience
• Practical experience in quality assurance, development and work scheduling of prototype building and in Aerospace projects (ECSS standards)
• Knowledge of SAP R/3
• Ability to work in a team
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German
